CMU is seeking to fill several part time adjunct instructor positions for their accredited undergraduate and graduate level degree programs.
This is the perfect opportunity for new Master level graduates to break into the online teaching career. Applicants must posses an accredited graduate level degree in any of the following areas:
Education
Economics
Business Administration
Finance
Marketing
Healthcare Management
Management Information Systems
Organization & Leadership
Accounting
Telecommunications
History
Literature
English
Sociology
Psychology
At this time, the undergraduate courses at CMU are very small; 2 to 6 students to a class. Online instructors teach 8 week courses and are paid $200.00 per student. In the fall of 2011, CMU will be partnering with another large univeristy to provide all their undergraduate courses. Now is the time to take advantage of this great opportunity by securing your regular online undergraduate course.
The graduate level courses are larger in size and the pay scale for these classes range from $1600.00 to $2,000.00 depending on your experience.
CMU prefers faculty who are knowledgable with Moodle. Faculty are required to set up their Moodle courses with instructional guides that are provided by CMU staff; the courses themselve are built with all the curriculum, tests, case studies, assignments. CMU is seeking instructors who are attentive to students and quick to respond to student questions. Online Faculty training is provided.
